Fatima - Do Better

Hear the Floating Points-produced 'Yellow Memories' opener, inspired by pre-disco group 100% Pure Poison.

We've heard plenty from it already, but now here's a full listen to the opening track to Fatima's incoming debut 'Yellow Memories', as debuted on the Benji B Show this week.

For Do Better, Floating Points is a logical name to see on production duty and – along with Detroit wizard Theo Parrish – also lent a hand with writing duties. It's got the mark of the Eglo co-boss all over it: with classy organs building into big waves of horns and drum strokes. The track was inspired by pre-disco band 100% Pure Poison (best name ever), which might explain where Parrish and FP were able to offer up their expertise when putting the track together.
