Four Tet curates Fugazi-inspired £5 Brixton all-nighter

Kieran Hebden invites Caribou and more down to Brixton Academy for a fiver a ticket, promising no light show.

Four Tet, a terrific London musician, has announced a new event. Curated by him, the night was inspired by Fugazi’s 90s shows. “I saw Fugazi at Brixton in the 90’s… £5 ticket, no light show, no bullshit… one of the best things I’ve ever seen”, he Tweeted. “this is kind of inspired by that I guess”

Tickets are five pounds, and available through Seetickets.com. Four Tet will be DJing b2b with his friend Caribou, and “loads more” acts are still to be announced.

Clarifying, he stated “we just need some parties going on that don’t want to be anything like this:”
