James Franco wrote a book about Lana Del Rey
James Franco is generally quite good at jumping on things that'll create a response on social media, so it's no surprise that the latest of his projects is a book about headline-generator Lana Del Rey. A big fan of Del Rey already (he wrote an essay about her for V Magazine this year), Franco's book is a 100-page text called Flip-Side: Real And Imaginary Conversations With Lana Del Rey, co-authored by David Shields. Its cover features photos of Franco with Lana, her sister Chuck Grant, and MoMA's celeb-baiting director Klaus Biesenbach at New York's Fort Tilden beach.
The book isn't out until March 15th next year, but if you fancy shelling out $22.50 to own a bizarre relic of the awful modern age we inhabit, you can pre-order it now. Otherwise, take a listen to Lana Del Rey's new song Honeymoon.
