Kevin Martin returns as The Bug with new Acid Ragga label

The first release will see Martin collaborating with Daddy Freddy and Hype William's Inga Copeland.

After 2008’s ‘London Zoo’, Kevin Martin returns to his business of being The Bug with a new 7’‘ label called Acid Ragga.

As The Quietus report, Acid Ragga is an offshot of Ninja Tune and will have as first release a Bug single, featuring contributions from long-running collaborator Daddy Freddy and Hype William Inga Copeland.

Martin revealed the news on his Twitter page with the following announcement: “Finally, literally finished the new Bug single 5 minutes b4 jumping a cab for the airport, and i’m PSYCHED…I’m starting a 7” label within Ninja Tune called ACID RAGGA, first single is Can’t Take This No More ft Daddy Freddy/‘Rise Up’ ft Inga Copeland(Hype Williams), and it will drop imminently.”

Ganja Baby, again with Daddy Freddy, will be the second release. The label are preparing a full announcement, more news and details will be revealed soon.
