Listen: Metronomy - Old Skool

Metronomy has released a new song titled Old Skool.

The new track featuring Mix Master Mike is the lead single from the group's upcoming album 'Summer 08', the follow-up to their 2014 album 'Love Letters' that also features a collaboration with Robyn. In a press release, Joe Mount describes the album as follows:

“I had those other albums – and how I wanted to record in bigger studios – out of my system. I wanted to make another record with the naivety of ‘Nights Out’: ten tracks, straight up, upbeat. Write another banger, then another, and don’t really think about it.”

The accompanying video is directed by Dawn Shadforth with appearances from Catastrophe’s (Ch 4) Sharon Horgan and Game of Thrones’ Ben Crompton while inspired by Mike Leigh's 'Abigail's Party'.
