Murlo - Velvet Wall (Slackk remix)

Murlo has been dropping fantastic tracks, remixes and re-edits for a while now, but right now seems to be his breakthrough moment, with new releases for Mixpak and Unknown To The Unknown shining a light on his considerable talents.

New York label Glacial Sound will house Murlo's new EP, and THUMP recently premiered a remix of new track Velvet Wall by the seriously underrated Slackk. Slacck's remix is really mad in the sort of way that descriptions can't capture – in this case we can only advise you listen to it right now. It's representative of a new wave of grime in healthy shape as represented by labels like Lost Codes, the eternal hardcore guardians Keysound and producers like Visionist, Wen, Samename and Bloom.
