Oneohtrix Point Never - Nassau [stream]

Dan Lopatin's shimmering, bewitching and weird track, taken from his forthcoming album 'Replica'.

Brooklyn producer Oneohtrix Point Never’s new album ‘Replica’ will drop next week. He’s given us a sneak peak of what to expect from the album by releasing its title track and Sleep Dealer earlier this month. Now, you can stream Nassau, a slow-building and slightly melancholic track below. Starting off with a looped, robotic vocal and faintly skittering, woozy synth beats, Nassau gradually builds up into a slanted, romantic soundscape with the elegant piano chords and jazz-y synth lines. It’s a little bit weird, but also really bewitching, just like the spaghetti-haired skeleton on the cover of ‘Replica’.
