Perfume Genius streams album

Play the heartbreaking new album by Perfume Genius, ahead of its release on Turnstile next week.

Today’s album stream comes courtesy of Seattle native Mike Hadreas, who records under the name Perfume Genius, and is streaming his album, ‘Learning’, on the website of his record label TURNSTILE.

The album is a subtle and heartbreaking record, somewhere between the sumptuous pianos of 70s AOR and the heart-wrenching emotion of Eliot Smith. One of our favourite labels, Transparent, put out his debut single, Mr Peterson, and ‘Learning’ will be released next Monday on the usual formats, including super-heavy vinyl.
