Pharrell and veteran composer Hans Zimmer named music consultants for 2012 Oscars

The 84th Academy Awards Ceremony will feature, as music consultants, two Dummy icons: Hans Zimmer, who produced the music for The Lion King, Gladiator and My Beautiful Laundrette, and Pharrell Williams, one half of production megastars The Neptunes. Here’s hoping a collaboration is on the cards.

Williams said: “I am honoured to work with my mentor and teacher, Hans Zimmer and I have wanted to collaborate with [ceremony producer] Brian Grazer on something for years.”
