Pitchfork has announced the first wave of artists for the anticipated return of Pitchfork Music Festival London, including Courtney Barnett, Animal Collective, Jeshi, Coby Sey and more.

Taking place from 9-13 November 2022 across various iconic spaces in the capital, this year’s event features performances from a wide scope of over 50 new and established artists. The inaugural edition last autumn saw the likes of Stereolab, Tirzah, Black Midi, PC Music, Moses Boyd and Anna Meredith take stage, with this year’s edition poised to be another successful showcase of the UK’s finest talent.

Courtney Barnett’s headline appearance at The Roundhouse on the Sunday will be her first in the capital since the release of last year’s critically acclaimed ‘Things Take Time, Take Time’. Animal Collective will be performing live in the UK for the first time since the release of their new record ‘Time Skiffs’, and their Friday night headline at Hackney Church marks their first London show in four years.

UK rap’s rising golden boy Jeshi will be using the momentum from his recent debut album ‘Universal Credit’ to put on a show to remember, while Dean Blunt’s WORLD MUSIC label signees bar italia will be opening up for Coby Sey at EartH Theatre on the festival’s opening night.

Other additions to the line up involve Faye Webster, Jenny Hval, Cate Le Bon, Desire, William Basinski, Injury Reserve, KOKOKO!, Spirit of the Beehive and many more. See below for the rest of the line up so far.

Tickets for each Pitchfork Music Festival London event will be sold separately. Tickets are in partnership with the festival partner DICE and are available here.
