The Warehouse Project is returning to Shore Street for 2014

The big room club specialists return to their old venue under Manchester Piccadilly Station in September, with their first party featuring Carl Craig, Ben UFO and more.

Manchester big room specialists The Warehouse Project had a hairy year last year, in which a man died after taking PMA at one of their events. Not long after the news broke, the dance music promoters announced that their 2014 edition would be significantly smaller, focusing on a few specific events rather than a series of large ones.

Today, they've announced that they'll be returning to their Shore Street location, under the arches of Manchester Piccadilly Station, for a few shows. Significantly smaller (but by no means tiny), Shore Street served as the main WHP location for five years before they moved on to the massive, further out of town spot of Victoria Warehouse.

"A percentage of the people who attend WHP might never have had the opportunity to go Store Street," says WHP's Sam Kandel in a press release, "Those who did know its an unbelievable space for WHP, hidden away beneath the Manchester streets. We said last year that WHP would be taking a different approach in 2014 and many will have been hearing rumours about something new in the pipeline for 2015 for the 10th Anniversary. So 2014 is about WHP going back to its roots. Smaller capacity, more intimate – an opportunity to revisit our spiritual home for one year only before we take the next step."

The first lineup has been announced today. Seth Troxler, Carl Craig, Jackmaster, Ben UFO, Pearson Sound, and more will play on Saturday September 27th. Tickets go on sale at 10am this Thursday (June 12th) and are available at The Warehouse Project's website. More lineups are set to be revealed in mid-July.
