Wild Beasts are going to play 'Smother' in full at an intimate London gig

The unmistakeable indie four-piece will play the whole of their most recent LP at the Lexington in December.

Wild Beasts have announced a special show at North London venue The Lexington on Friday 7th December. Choosing to try something a bit different for their only show in the capital in 2012, the band will play 2011’s critically-acclaimed ‘Smother’ LP in its entirety. Live performances of whole albums is still a relatively rare occurrence, but offers a chance to experience a work in an entirely new light, and can be a revelatory experience when well executed.

Wild Beasts have decided to offer their fans an equal chance of getting tickets, and so are asking all interested to register here before 9am on Monday 3rd December. Winners will then be selected randomly, and invited to purchase tickets.

The Cumbrian outfit will then head to Camber Sands the following day, where they are set to headline All Tomorrow’s Parties.
