Zomby - W I T H L O V E

Zomby's back with a low-end lovin' new one, reportedly lifted from a forthcoming album for 4AD.

According to a tipped-off Pitchfork, the Youtube clip found on w-i-t-h-l-o-v-e.com is the first official Zomby music since 2011’s ‘Nothing’ EP, and a taster of a forthcoming album for 4AD.

W I T H L O V E has bass heavy enough to sink a battleship, and is among the sparsest material we’ve heard from the producer – but listen closely and you’ll hear some familiarly meticulous flourishes. And along with the accompanying Man Ray-esque visual of entwined lovers, it becomes entirely captivating. Apart from implicitly confirming by linking to the site, Zomby is yet to shed more light on things on Twitter, but in between slagging off Britpop and reflecting on the busy-ness of living in New York he did recently tweet: “New album coming very soon”. Fingers and toes crossed.
