Loski sends for Digga D with new diss-track and video 'Obsessed'
South London rapper Loski has been making waves on social media with his latest single ‘Obsessed’, a tongue-in-cheek freestyle responding to Digga D’s ‘STFU’ released last week.
Harking back to the diss-tracks of old, Loski’s latest offering continues the recent trend in the UK drill scene of paying tribute to classic US hip hop tunes. Inspired by Tupac’s inflammatory ‘Hit ‘Em Up’ track, Loski had this to say on his viral new hit: “I’ve let others speak and thought it’s time I gave my version of events and had a little fun with it.”
Directed by Kaylum and Loski himself, the performance led video parodies Mariah Carey’s ‘Obsessed’ video and features a Digga D lookalike locked in a cell with pictures of the Kennington rapper pinned to the wall.
‘Obsessed’ follows on from Loski’s recent freestyle ‘Tag Time’ as well as his remix of Cat Burns’ smash hit ‘Go’ alongside Russ Millions. Having taken a lengthy hiatus from making drill music to explore more commercial genres, the South Londoner is back in full flow producing some of his most potent work in years.
