Disclosure are dropping their fourth studio album 'Alchemy' tomorrow
On the 10 year anniversary of their seminal debut album 'Settle', Disclosure return with news of a brand new LP dropping this Thursday (July 14).
Titled 'Alchemy', the new record takes things back to basics with no guest features or samples. The influential duo's imminent fourth studio album is also being released independently, giving Guy and Howard a new sense of freedom and expression to expand the definition of what a Disclosure track can be.
Embracing everything from jungle breaks and trance-like synth riffs to rapid tempo four-to-the-floor club tracks, 'Alchemy' seeks to defy expectations in the very best of ways.
“This record is a celebration of us feeling liberated right now,” says Guy. “We’re no longer signed to a major record label. We’re not going to tour this record. We can do whatever we like and be super creative.”
Last night, Disclosure held a listening party of the new album for fans at Brilliant Corners in Dalston. This evening, the boys are throwing a free party at an undisclosed location from 5pm before officially launching the album at The Cause on Friday night.
