NICOLAS drops deep house influenced new single, 'WHEN THE LIGHTS GO DOWN'

Enigmatic French electronic artist NICOLAS has just dropped his deep house influenced new single, ‘WHEN THE LIGHTS GO DOWN’.

The single is a follow-up to his last EP ‘FORGET TO FEEL’, which garnered more than 1 million streams across all DSPs. Like the previous EP the new single is an introspective dance track with deep house influences that allows for simultaneous dancing and contemplation.

By warping hypnotic vocals with dream-filled pads, NICOLAS invites his listener to create their own meaning: the lyrics float and then land, finally registering in your mind, leaving you to decide what happens when the lights go down.

NICOLAS says on the track, “I see this song as a reflection on life, on the mark that we might leave behind once we’re gone.”
