London-via-Scotland producer Barry Can’t Swim is a rising artist with a knack for putting a nimble, summertime spin on jazz-inflected house akin to the likes of Bicep or Ross From Friends, and has been tipped as one of Annie Mac’s New Names for 2021.
Named after the first US space station, ‘Skylab District’ comes awash with nostalgic samples and rave-ready breakbeats – the perfect after-party sunrise number, you could say.
Set for release on the 26th February on Part Four Records, ‘Skylab District’ comes hot on the heels of his shimmering ‘Someday I Will’ single, and you can listen to it exclusively below.
