Premiere: Epic B and Lady Ice collide on the bone-snapping 'I'm The One'
Manchester label Swing Ting continue their run of flawless releases, tapping Epic B for the ‘Mask On Riddim’ EP.
The original riddim was lost when the Flex Dance Music (FDM) pioneer was robbed at gunpoint for his laptop and hard drives last year – but luckily a WAV was recovered, and the track was rebuilt.
Epic B has previously graced Swing Ting with his remix of ‘Can’t Wait’ and DJ Lag collab ‘Going Modd’, and lands again on the imprint with a selection of vocalists from Kingston to Brooklyn to Manchester – Kemikal, Alozade, Eddie Hill and Lady Ice.
Manchester’s Lady Ice is a rapper on the rise, and flexes her vocal muscles over a digitised FDM/dancehall beat – the result being ‘I’m The One’, a bone-snapping, blazing cut.
