2KWTVR - Body Feelings

“We don’t know his real name. or where he lives. he doesn’t say much,” Shlohmo writes of 2KWTVR. Even so, the Bay Area producer has invited this unknown artist to join the WEDIDIT collective , and as a result, he has this skittering re-work of Mariah Carey’s hit ‘Emotions’ to share.

Since hooking up with Shlohmo to remix Salva’s Yellobone , 2KWTVR has clearly been working on that sparse, echoey sound, and brought it to a new level on ‘Body Feelings’ with the surreal addition of Mariah Carey’s high(er)-pitched vocals. Amped up with hyperactive, choppy drum samples, it’s an excitable and promising listen. Stream it below.
