Airhead - Milkola Bottle

The London producer unveils another intriguing piece of the jigsaw puzzle that is his new LP.

London-based producer Airhead has unveiled yet another piece of the beguiling jigsaw puzzle that is his debut album ‘For Years’. Forthcoming in June on R&S, current champion of leftfield, introspective electronica, the album has so far revealed itself in the acoustic tenderness of Autumn and the electronic surge of Fault Line, but Milkola Bottle is a curveball all of its own. Weighed down with cavernous and murky sounds, it’s a bit of wistful headspace in the midst of what is shaping up to be one of the most curious releases of 2013.

In other Airhead news – following a string shows in North America, 1-800-Dinosaur residents Airhead, James Blake, Dan Foat, Klaus and Mr Assister return to east London venue Plastic People, taking turns on the decks and bringing with them their usual anything goes music policy.
