Amsterdam is launching the first socially distanced 'festival' next month

Attendees can connect to DJ live streams in their hotel rooms as well as other guests via Zoom

A 24-hour music and art event, ‘No Art Hotel’, is due to take place at Amsterdam’s A’DAM Toren and Sir Adam Hotel on June 20th, with strict social distancing measures in place.

Dutch collective No Art will put on a dinner show with live art, live music and DJ sets, before taking things to the individual hotel rooms of guests. There they will be connected to a live stream from the tower’s events space and to all other rooms of attendees via Zoom.

Prices start at €225 per ticket and will be allocated through a lottery system.

Lockdown measures in the Netherlands have not been as strict as in other parts of Europe, and this marks the latest initiative from promoters navigating events in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

While in Serbia, Exit festival has been given the green light to go ahead in August this year, albeit with social distancing measures in place.
