Flying Lotus plays interesting venues and releases video

Free Rap producer plays three interesting dates in August, tells the story behind Cosmogramma's extraordinary art.

The world’s best Free Rap music producer is playing three dates in London in August, all of which are different and interesting. On the 14th he plays a warehouse show at Hearn Street Car Park, with the Brainfeeder lot, on the 16 August he plays the score to ethnomusicologist Harry Smith’s avant garde animation film Heaven and Earth Magic, and on the 18th, he plays a full band show at the ICA.

As a producer who has done more to tie Rave to American Folk music and the Avant Garde, all three are quite wonderfully fitting. The dates are copied and pasted below below a video which also came in, which shows the art director of ‘Cosmogramma’, FlyLo’s extraordinary album, explaining his choices.
