FUNKTIONSLUST - Seats

FUNKTIONSLUST is another new project coming out of South London (they do literally seem to pop up every week at the moment), and Seats is the first track they've shared with the world. The little info we have on FUNKTIONSLUST describes them as "a product of post-internet and music saturation", and while Seats feels roughly defined, there's plenty going in its icy cold pop backdrop, with a central synth line that seems to get more drunk and distorted as it repeatedly goes on the attack. Their chosen moniker is feeling like a bit of a mouthful for the minute, but we'll gladly hear more from FUNKTIONSLUST in the future.
