Gang Colours - 'Invisible In Your City' [album stream]

Preview the Hampshire producer's vivid second album in full before its release next week.

Gang Colours has told Dummy he was listening to classic pop albums by the likes of Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins during the making of his second album 'Invisible in The City' and listening to it now, you can hear touches of the deep songwriting and florid instrumentation of those older figures.

It shifts from the electronic producer/occasional vocalist model of his first album to something more traditional – a move he suggests is due to moving out of Southampton and back to his family home in rural Botley – that is packed with heavy piano playing, plaintive storytelling and unravelled on a tapestry of samples. Whilst very much a introverted project, it also features the young British soul singer Lulu James and a cover of David Bowie's Always Crashing In The Same Car for its final two tracks. Stream the album below.

Brownswood Recordings will release 'Invisible In Your City' on the 16th September 2013.
