Jackson & His Computer Band - Vista

It was incredibly exciting to hear that a certain Warp act would be returning with their first album in eight years this year. No, not them – we’re talking about Jackson & His Computer Band, who recently announced his new album ‘Glow’, his first since 2005’s ‘Smash’. The first taster from that record has now surfaced, and it sounds gorgeous. Vista is big, bright and funky, full of emotive chords and soft vocals, streamlining the glitchiness of ‘Smash’ without sidelining it entirely. There’s even a little bit of 303 buried at the end. Magical.

Warp will release ‘Glow’ on September 2nd.
