Kurupt FM, Ms Banks, Holy Goof and more to play first year of Festival People in East London
London's festival circuit is set to get another major player this summer.
Festival People will be hitting East London's Barking Park on June 17, with acts like Kurupt FM, Holy Goof, Hot Dub Machine, Jonas Blue, and Ms Banks taking the stage from midday until 10pm.
The event will be "celebrating youth culture and community in the Capital" and will have artists from the worlds of dancehall, afrobeats, UK garage, grime, DnB, and more.
It'll also feature brand partners in the form of BRESH — who've thrown events across Buenos Aires, Miami, Ibiza, and Barcelona — and Supercharged — who throw club nights in Brighton.
Speaking about the new festival, Jeff Gray, the Head of AMAAD Events, says: "It's an opportunity to see your favourite acts and discover new ones in the process. Bold, fun and unpretentious, the event is set to make a huge mark on London's event landscape this summer. So grab your festival people and get involved."
Tickets will be going from £39.50 and will go on sale February 9 at 12pm for those who register in advance.
