Kindness announces debut album, himself as a bit of a hippy

Adam Bainbridge’s delicate take on Walter Gibbons-style disco jams under the name Kindness caught the attention of more than a few in the industry 18 months ago. The video for Gee Up (directed by Jack Jam City) was a particular favourite, and seemed to signal the rise of serious new talent.

Now, after releasing a white label and a great track called Cyan, published with a newspaper, he has announced his debut album, through his own (Polydor-backed) label Female Energy. The album, hippie-ily titled ‘World, You Need A Change Of Mind’ will be out on the 19th March.
