Laurent Garnier - Drifting In Midwaters

Exclusive stream of an unheard track - otherwise only available on vinyl - by the veteran French DJ/producer.

Laurent Garnier has revived his seminal F Communications label to release 'La HOME box', a boxset featuring a selection of tracks that made up last year's 'The Garnier Project' (five EPs released on five different labels in five different countries, each seeing the Frenchman dabble in a bunch of different styles) as well as a handful of unheard or otherwise unreleased productions.

The boxset is getting a digital and CD release, but these are abridged versions – true fans will want to pick up the vinyl edition, which is the only place you'll be able to hear the veteran DJ/producer's unreleased music.

…well, not the only place. We've actually got an exclusive stream of Drifting In Midwaters right now. It's a long, rolling house number that appears on the three-track 'Honey I'm HOME!' EP.

Laurent Garnier's book Electrochoc is getting an English translation, with a provisional release date set for July – it's also being turned into a film, which is actually quite crazy.
