Planning to start a record label? Get advice from the experts at a live panel this Thursday
If you've ever thought about starting a record label, then don't pass up an opportunity to get advice from the experts.
On Thursday, cultural showcase company Edifeye will bring together a handful of names behind a raft of independent labels – Emily Moxon from the Gilles Peterson-established Brownswood Recordings, James Threlfall from Kerri Chandler's label Madtech, Ashley Sykes from Push & Run, Claudio Lillo from Five Easy Pieces, and contributions from big room house brand Defected – for a live panel discussing their involvement with labels and the challenges that you'd face and the logistics of running one today.
The panel will take place in London (where else?) at The Apple Store on Regent's Street on Thursday (January 9th 2014) from 6.30pm. For more information and to register for free tickets, head to the Edifeye website.
