Lumerians - Dogon Genesis

Recent years have seen an abundance of good, kraut-leaning psych music reach a wider audience courtesy of acts like Goat, Wooden Shjips and The Time & Space Machine. Lumerians are another solid band who have shared a new single from their upcoming new album. With its mixture of heavy live instruments and tinny 808 snares and toms, Dogon Genesis is like a cross between Suicide, The Asphodells, and The Chemical Brothers’ psych moments. Its lyrics are delightful in their silly wide-eyedness, too.

Partisan will release ‘The High Frontier’ on August 6th.
