MGUN - 'If You're Reading This' [EP stream]

Following on from a recent 12” for Berceuse Heroique is the ‘If You’re Reading This’ EP from Detroit producer MGUN. Released through consistent dance label Don’t Be Afraid, the six track EP is a mixture of sloppy techno – warehouse acid like Proxy, deep builders like Funnel Vision – and oddball jams. It’s the jams that are the most curious items on here – tracks like Hand Over Fifth is littered with dead fart sounds and Jijijijij$ijijijiji is just a fascinatingly odd piece of music – but it’s pretty weird and wonderful all around.
