Gorgeous, yearning R&B/garage ballad from two of Montreal's finest.

“Nobody’s better for me than you,” sings Montreal R&B pop singer/producer ANGO on True Blue, one of the standouts from his ‘Serpentine’ mixtape that’s literally just this minute dropped on his website. It finds him reuniting with fellow Montreal artist Jacques Greene and could be the sequel, or prequel maybe, to Greene’s ANGO-featuring Flatline from his ‘Concealer’ EP released earlier this year. On True Blue, Greene’s anticipation-fuelled, melancholic garage production is the perfect foil to ANGO’s soulful R&B vocal, resulting in the kinda song born to soundtrack lonely nightbus journeys home.
