Premiere: CID RIM - A Fall For Two

Austrian free jazz musician makes techno that sounds like the Milky Way on his debut release for LuckyMe.

Whatever Glasgow music/art/creative force LuckyMe have their all-seeing eye on is always worth keeping your ears pricked for. This is a fam that includes Hudson Mohawke, Rustie, Jacques Greene, Lunice and Konx-om-Pax, remember. The latest addition to the crew is Vienna, Austria’s CID RIM and the man behind those six letters is Clemens Bächer, a free jazz musician and live drummer for Dorian Concept. On his self-titled debut album for LuckyMe, he demonstrates his skill for delicately lit, fluid music that navigates a path somewhere between free jazz and melodic techno. There’s something particularly constellation-evoking about A Fall For Two; it trips and falls like a dream about the Milky Way. Listen here plus check this sweet little video below too.

LuckyMe will release CID RIM’s self-titled debut album on 7th August 2012
