Premiere: Elephant - Skyscraper (Bayou remix)

Mystery man turned not mystery man Bayou has taken on the new single from Memphis Industries signees Elephant, and the result is lovely. Bayou strips things down to only a handful of layers – a slow crawl beat and sober synth loops – in order to focus on Amelia Rivas’ atmospheric vocals. But it’s not just dignified restraint for the sake of it – it’s essentially a precursor to the great release at the two minute mark.
