Premiere: Helado Negro - Enters

Ecstatically chaotic new jam from South Florida based experimental artist.

The music of South Florida experimental artist Roberto Lange, aka Helado Negro, only caught Dummy's ear earlier this year but we've been listening close ever since. The second in his 'Island Universe Story' EP series features the ecstatically chaotic Enters, which Dummy is thrilled to premiere today. Lange collaborated with a double string quartet for the EP before running the recordings through a series of rainbows and magnetic fields. Least that's what it sounds like. "It was a different process for me," Lange explains over email. "It was made after this most recent record was finished while I was on the road this year and meeting new people, barely sleeping, being hospitalized and sick for a while. All these random brain things happened." As ever, random brain things make for the most vital music.

Asthmatic Kitty Records will release Helado Negro's new EP 'Island Universe Story Two' on 27th August 2013.
