R&S accuse The Black Eyed Peas of ripping off Lone’s ‘Airglow Fires’
R&S Records have suggested that the Black Eyed Peas’s ‘CONSTANT PART 1 & 2’, released on August 30th of this year, has ripped off a Lone track.
Posting the track on Twitter, accompanied by 'Sound familiar?’, the independent label has pointed towards the similarity between the instrumental and Lone’s ‘Airglow Fires’, released as a single in 2013 and on Lone's 'Reality Testing' album.
While the whole track contains a very similar vibe to Lone’s production, it’s the section at around 2 minutes 48 seconds that is the most comparable in sound.
“Total rip off merchants,” the label added.
Compare the two tracks below.
