Lil' B, Pictureplane and Xiu Xiu to feature on new Sole and The Skyrider record

In Hello Cruel World, the highly-anticipated first album since parting ways with Anticon, the label he helped found, beardy hip-hop maestro Sole collaborates with Lil’ B (who dropped his own debut I’m Gay just days ago).

Other guest appearances on the record include Xiu Xiu, Pictureplane, Sage Francis and Ceschi, resulting in an album that is as varied in collaborations as it is unified in style, clarity and accessibility. Abandoning a previous love of broad soundscapes, the band have honed their sound into one that pays tight attention to detail, and one which its collaborators fit into snugly.
