The Maccabees set to release third LP next year

Fiction will release the boys' 'Given to the Wild' in January.

London five-piece The Maccabees are ready to release their third album on January 9th of next year. Following the distinct change in tone from their debut to 2009’s Stephen Street produced Wall Of Arms, ‘Given In The Wild’ apparently marks a new level of maturity for the band.

In the NME, guitarist Felix White claims “We’ve grown up as people and changed as a band. We’ve learned for the first time what we really wanted The Maccabees to sound like on record It’s taken us three albums but we finally achieved that. We’ve discovered what we’re truly capable of and that feels really exciting.”

The tracklisting of ‘Given In The Wild’ is as follows:

The Maccabees have also announced a UK tour for January 2012. The trek will feature five shows, which kick off in Glasgow at Queen Margaret’s Union on January 23 and run until January 28, when the band will play Manchester’s HMV Ritz.
