The second volume of Kwesachu's mixtape series has arrived

Prolific young producers Kwes and Micachu collaborate with Speech Debelle, Ghostpoet and more on the free download.

Kwes and Micachu have put out the second volume of their mixtape series as Kwesachu, neatly coinciding with the release of ‘Meantime’, the Kwes EP out now on Warp.

The 14-track mixtape sees the genius young producers show off their freeform pop sensibilities, with flavours of grime and garage underpinning jazzy percussion and scruffy-edged samples, topped off by an outro of epic proportions.

Ghostpoet, CLOUT!, Speech Debelle, DELS and David Okumu of The Invisible are among the numerous collaborators on the mixtape, which is now available online after an initial release on 200 cassettes, given away free at the Southbank Centre in London.

Micachu recently announced details of ‘NEVER’, her second studio album as Micachu & The Shapes, which is scheduled for release on 23rd July 2012 through Rough Trade.
