d'Eon live at SXSW 2012

d’Eon was last on the bill at the Slow Pump party that Sun Araw played on Friday. It was about three in the morning and a few folks had jumped out but those remaining sat or laid on the floor. Having lost all his gear earlier in the week he played a Music For Keyboards set on a borrowed keyboard. The visuals guy had gone home so d’Eon performed in darkness, which only heightened the zone-out feeling. Notes fell like shards of light, refracting off of one another, splintering and swirling into the ether. It was an absolute privilege to listen.

The light from my phone was a little intrusive so I turned it off a few seconds in so this is more of a listen than a watch.
