George Riley enlists Hudson Mohawke for mind-bending new single and video 'S e x'
George Riley joins forces with Warp Records poster boy Hudson Mohawke for a high-octane new single and visual ready to set dance floors alight this winter.
Titled 'S e x', the new offering is lifted from Riley's forthcoming EP, 'Un/limited Love', which is set to land on 10th November digitally and 1st December on vinyl via Ninja Tune.
The video has been created by The Horrors keyboardist Tom Furse and uses AI to portray how men often see women in their life, viewing them as "objects of fantasy rather than human beings".
Contrasting the old-school house vibe of her previous single 'Elixir' with a faster, more rave-leaning sound this time around, the track's lyrics explore "uneven power dynamics in abusive relationships and how those facing oppression can turn to any means necessary to readdress the balance".
Riley will begin a European tour next month, including many dates in support of US singer, producer and DJ Yaeji.
