LA Vampires with Maria Minerva - Seasons Change

Estonian meta-popstar Maria Minerva and lo-fi sensation Amanda Brown, AKA LA Vampires, have teamed up on Not Not Fun to put out ‘The Integration LP’ in November of this year.

In the first video and track to surface from the project, the pair look and sound so comfortable together that a connection between them seems completely inevitable; clicking alongside each other as they cruise down monochrome streets and shuffle-dance through corridors, it’s emblematic of the too-cool-to-care style, and yet has a charming self-consciousness that makes all a bit of harmless fun. From mirror preening to self-aware, miniscule dance moves, the pair appear to be deliberately showing off the awkward and hyper-controlled nature of their aesthetics, and revelling in, or practically laughing at it, and it makes for a very sweet and sophisticated clip.
