Lil Silva - No Doubt (feat. Rosie Lowe)

Lil Silva recently announced a new EP named 'The Distance', featuring vocal contributions from Sampha, Rosie Lowe and even himself, and the video for the Rosie Lowe-featuring No Doubt is now available to watch (as premiered by Stereogum). No Doubt sees the funky/grime producer go pop, but unlike a lot of stabs at crossover success, Silva's genuinely seems convincing, a great piece of music that doesn't dilute his sharp production tendencies, anvil-heavy basslines and, particularly, his skipping drum tracks. The video is quite polished but, fittingly, it falls apart once the bass hits.
