Premiere: PINS - Stay True

Manchester-based, Bella Union-signed band PINS offset the stinging war-cries and reverb surges in their new single Stay True with an artful video directed by Sing J. Lee. Taking inspiration from screen tests of the 1960s, it consists mostly of mournful monochrome stares, small calculated movements and a glorious lo-fi crackle; needless to say, it all looks cool as hell, and simmers with that restrained violent energy (mostly thanks to drummer Sophie’s genuine black eye and some bat-wielding menace from guitarist Lois) and quiet tension that make the group so exciting.
