slowthai channels the Trainspotting toilet scene in his new video for 'Doorman'

slowthai has released the accompanying visual for ‘Doorman’, where the Northampton rapper embarks on a chaotic night out.

Channeling the subversive rage and tongue-in-cheek humour he’s become known for, the video references the toilet scene from Danny Boyle’s iconic 1996 Trainspotting film.

The hotly-tipped artist has become known for his movie-recalling videos, with ‘Rainbow’ finding him turning into King Kong and ‘North Nights’ tapping into the The Shining and Blair Witch among other horror flicks.

The new Mura Masa-produced single is another example of the MC’s electric ability on the mic, and comes ahead of his debut album dropping later this year.
