Spaceape - On The Run

The Spaceape’s output to late has often been linked with the thick dub landscapes of producers like Kode 9 and The Bug, but On The Run has no feature credits and takes a more intimate approach, with an Ornette Coleman-like saxophone following a story that may not be as dark as some of his earlier work but still shows his deep dissatisfaction with contemporary Britain. There are no further details from Hyperdub as of yet, but the striking video suggests a solo Spaceape project of some kind is on the way soon.
