Vondelpark - Dracula

When talking about Dracula, the new single from the absurdly consistent Vondelpark, we described it as “introverted yet expressive, using its synths, guitars and drums impressionistically.” This new video, directed by Cieron Magat, is complementary in this respect – the images used are textural, the focus blurred and the footage slowed in such a way to evoke moods and feelings rather than to tell a narrative or signify specific meanings. It’s a perfect fit, really, and is just one more reason to get excited about their forthcoming album ‘Seabed’, due for release next year.
