L-Vis 1990 in the mix for B.TRAITS

L-Vis 1990 has just put out a fine EP called ‘Ballads’ that bathes in space, and which he described to Clash as “a big “fuck you” to the bland UK tech/deep house trend”. “Bland” this guest mix for Radio 1 certainly is not – with grooves like forgotten machinery jerking back into life, wails echoing from the sea depths and exclusives forthcoming on Night Slugs/Fade to Mind. Oh, and a sort of prophetic mix of Rebound X’s Rhythm & Gash – arguably the best grime instrumental ever.
