Southern Hospitality's Players Ball Experience Mix

Every month or so, Southern Hospitality run a night in London with selection that focuses squarely on the best in US hip-hop. They’re not about championing a specific region or style, though Southern rap is a major feature – as you’d guess from the name, or overly reverent appreciation circles but do party rap better than anyone else in the capital right now.

Playing hits from favourites like Future or Drake alongside upcoming talents like Ty Dolla $ign and the Bay Area’s HBK Gang, they follow a simple but effective formula, with a dedicated crowd and a thorough knowledge of hip-hop current and history. Ahead of their move to East Village in Shoreditch for their first show of the new year resident DJs Rob Pursey and Davey Boy Smith made an hour long mix specially for Dummy to show what they do best. #Turnupturnup!
