Banditt and Kippo Drop Post-Party Anthem, 'Uber'
Vocalist Banditt and rising experimental bass producer Kippo have linked up on relatable drum and bass banger, 'Uber.'
An introspective take on the aftermath of a night out, Banditt shares his stream of consciousness while stuck at someone's house, waiting for an Uber, surrounded by people he doesn't know. Brighton-based Banditt's nonchalant delivery juxtaposes with Bristol-hailing Kippo's fast-paced, skippy production on the track.
“Those ones where the party stops being fun and all you want is your bed, but you can still reflect on having a great time but leaving before you regret it. That's what we tried to capture with this tune,” explains Banditt.
Kippo's experimental approach to beat-making has enabled him to traverse different styles within the electronic music spectrum, and his collaboration with the equally dynamic Banditt was a long time coming.
"Kippo and I had been meaning to make a track for a long time. When he sent me the beat, I immediately loved the mid-west emo sound and how bright the track felt," says Banditt.
